Default struggling with the tie rods

I'm trying to adjust the front wheel angles and feel like maybe I'm missing something here... I cannot get the tie rod to come loose, the castle nut that connects the ball stud to the steering mechanism just spins the threaded shaft. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to keep that from happening? I have the same issue at both ends.

I guess I can just try to get the jam nut loose while it's still all connected?

Also, shouldn't there be a grease fitting on the end of the lower bearing on each end of the tie rod?

Is it turning on the shaft like it's stripped, or is the nut and shaft turning together?

Remove the cotter pin, 14mm wrench to hold the jam nut. One end has RH threads, the other has LH. Can't tell you which one is which...

Ok, I figured out my issue... the wrench on the bit up by the boot was slipping... I got it off. Now I just need to break the jamb nuts free. They are stuck good!

Heat the nuts a little, repeat heating & cooling a few times.

Tie rods are a b**ch sometimes. I usually use a pickle fork and jam it in there while I spin the nut with an impact. Glad you got it.
