Yamaha rear end issues
So I have a 2008 Yamaha gas cart. It’s leaking at the driver side rear axle. I just called and was told that on my model the bearing and oil gasket are together. There is not one farther inside. While looking I also noticed these two bolts almost completely backed out. Any thoughts? Why would these bolts back out? The one doesn’t seem to bottom out when I tightened it back up. Don’t want to force anything. I was wondering if a bracket or something is missing. It was previously converted to a jakes big block kit so I don’t know if something is missing. Thanks for any input.

Re: Yamaha rear end issues
If the bolts are too long you can use washers.
If the bolts run all the way in but don't tighten up the threads are likely stripped. You can Helicoil those fairly easily. You can use Loctite or thread locker to keep the bolts from backing out. |
