Default G1 wheels and tires. Need options.

Hey everyone.

Looking at options for new tires and wheels for my G1. I’ve got 2” spacers on them now and the stock wheels which need replaced because they are starting to crack on the sidewall and making me a little nervous.

Anyways not looking to drop $500 on wheels and tires but I wanted to get something bigger like 10” or so.

Now with that being said, is it worth it to get a 4” lift or just get 10” tires that can run without a lift?

I’m a little clueless when it comes to this so I’m open to suggestions.

So you're wanting new stuff but want to go cheap? Then no lift and stock sized tires are you cheapest option. If you want bigger, you must get a lift. Even with a lift, some tire/wheel combo's require some body trimming.

Not knowing exactly what your price point is, I was able to get 10" wheels / tires on my G1 for $400. Free shipping and no cart modifications needed. These were low profile tires, though. I got them from site sponsor Golf Cart Tire Supply. I have some pics posted in some prior posts if you want to do a search in my profile.

Really, if you don't keep with stock I think the only cheaper option is to keep an eye out for used but those tend to get scooped up pretty quickly.

I see my fat finger messed that up. I meant $600 but regardless I was looking for the most economic way to do it. Not necessarily the cheapest.

Wasn’t sure if 10 inch wheels would fit without a lift. I’m not against getting a lift but without a unlimited stream of money to spend, I have to pick and choose.

I’ll take a look thanks! I’ve been on the lookout for some used ones but they are for sure had to find. I’m gonna keep looking but worse case I wanted to have a plan if I can’t find any. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on wheels and tires and then spend another few hundred on a lift kit.

Trying to be economical.
