Default 2007 Yamaha cutting out

I have a 2007 Yamaha 48 V have replaced the stop start switch solenoid looks to be new tested batteries one bank I think these be replaced I run the cart and I get complete loss after a few minutes I might be able to run 2 to 3 miles slow down start back up in the cart just dies nothing happens it’s very random but it’s when I start up and I stop start up and stop when I start the cart I can hear the solenoids clickinG If I flip the toe switch it will start up again so I’m kind of at a loss my thoughts are either a bad battery bank which I know I need to replace chilling oh that looks brand new or a controller I don’t think the motor has any issues please help me our guys

Check the contacts on the motor. I had one of these in my shop with the same problem and couldn't find any failed components or wiring. The motor terminal nuts has some surface rust on them so I removed all the nuts and cleaned the terminals & studs, and then replaced the nuts and washers with new ones and torqued to proper torque. Didn't have much hope it would fix the problem, but it is still running a year later with no problems. Worth a shot.

I cleaned all the poles on the motor new hardware as well. New tow toggle switch, fixed batteries, new stop start switch that was bad.

I am at a loss. So I ran the cart today for about 3 miles then cuts right out when I flip the tow / run will run for a few minutes then cut out.

Yes the solenoid is clicking and yes I can here the buzzer when I go in reverse. The cart will go forward and back but is cutting out I’m at a loss any ideas 💡

Battery voltage is dropping under load. Better check that next, but has to be checked under load & observed before the failure. Bet you will see it dropping well below 42v.

JU6-H1950-00-00 ($92.99 MSRP). can be had cheaper at boats dot net.

It's a very good unit too.

So after more testing voltage is not dropping below 49v on a full charge it happens even when not on a load with tires off on blocks. I hooked my meter to the smaller poles on the solenoid it gets 12.97-12.87 when it dies that voltage is gone the entire unit dies except the lights if they are turned on whe. It drops that voltage goes away I have checked lol connections even the wire harness under the unit that might be damaged. The motor is cool to temp like Luke warm. Solenoid is not hot either. I’m at aloss

when it stops running but solenoid still clicks tap the end cap of the motor with a hammer and try again while cart is still in the air in the rear....motor brushes may be sticking...just a quick easy test that usually tells you brushes are bad...which is very common in these carts I do brush jobs 3-4 times a week...

Ran the cart tonight and was able to see it drop from the main bank To like 44-46 Volts wide open so I think it’s the battery bank

That makes sense...low voltage cut-out sounds like a good probability...
