Compression range for 2001 Workhorse
What should the proper compression range be on a 2001 Workhorse?

Re: Compression range for 2001 Workhorse
Took a trade in today (1999 model) with 185# in both sides. It's my preference, but I think anything below 145# is bad news - of course, always check this with properly adjusted valves

Mine is at 110 on both sides after adjusting. A friend mentioned it was time for an overhaul. Not sure how to proceed at this point. Is an overhaul the only answer?

Rebuilds ain't a bad job.... You can get the parts from site sponsors and the build manuals can be downloaded with the click of a mouse... Heck you might just find a rebuilt engine in the for sale section if your lucky... Good luck... I'd love to have a shot at the cart if your sellin' though... Let me know or send a PM....
