EZGO Gas Shift cable broke loose at trans- how do I access?
I am in a bind. My mother who lives 200 miles away has a 2003 EZGO Gas golf cart with the fold down rear seat / tray. We just bought this for her (by MY house) and the F/R shifter has always been hard to switch. Last weekend my brother went to use it and the shifter broke loose. He is going back up there today, but is useless as a mechanic unless I can guide him along.
I am pretty sure the cable pulled off or broke loose at the trans but I am unsure if her cart has an access panel like my neighbors Club Car behind the rear seat. I've searched the forums and even google pics looking for something to tell me the best way to access the shift cable at the trans. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Re: EZGO Gas Shift cable broke loose at trans- how do I access?
Is this a single or dual cable setup?? There is an access panel between the seat & bagwell, two Torx head screws near the seatback brackets and two where it wraps down into the bagwell..
