Default 89 Marathon Back seat & lift???

I have been looking at the aluminum flip seats. I haven't found one for the the 89 Marathon but was told IT could be modified to work.

Has anyone installed a rear flip seat on an older cart?

I would guess the rear springs would need to be changed.

I am going to fabricate a lift for this cart when it gets cold and can't boat..

Has anyone fabricated a lift for their cart??

Would like to install the flip seat to use at the lake..

Thanks for any info...

I have There is no right way to do it. The skys the limit. Buy a kit, set it up there and figure out the best way to mount it. I think mine may even have been for a club car

Just a cheap 3 inch lift you can get from most of the sponsors - http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php
8 inch wheels with mud tires. I forget all the details but they were 22's. I sold the cart awhile ago.

This was the day I brought it home. My 1st cart ever

I just purchased a flip seat that is built for a Club Car. Got a great deal.

I post some pictures of the project. I am also going to change the top and the front seat back to the newer style.

I also just finished building a sterring wheel adapter. Cut upp an old sterring wheel for the splines. I will see tomorrow how it works..

Will try and post some pictures later...
