Super cheap and great looking cargo bed...
So I have the cart all done and it was missing something. I needed more cargo room. Eveywhere I look, you have to have the rear seat and then you put in a poly bin. Cost about $300+.
So where I get all my good I deas, I ditched the wife and walked around Lowes. And then it hit me, concret mixing bin. I ran on over and they were great. They are called super bins, and it was only $12.97. I went over and grabbed 4 pieced of 1.5 inch aluminum angle for $6.97 per on sale. 1/4 -20 bolts all around with big washer in the bin so nothing rips through the plastic. And after 1 hour, I had a sturdy bin for hauling corn and junk to my stands. I also extended (not pictured) my roof supports to the back of the bin. Roof does not bounce around anymore and it looks like a full roll cage. Just use 1/2 or 3/4 galvanized conduit (cheap), sand it, acetone it, and spray with rustolem bed liner. That crap sticks to everything and does not rub off. If you need any help let me know. Hope this helps some...alum is expensive, steel is heavy and rusts...poly is great. LED waterproof headlights are next article (cost $22 bucks total for 4w per side....very bright) Smoman 91 club car (will upload a nice pic outside all done soon) |

Great idea, nice work. It's amazing what a man can do if he can ditch the wife when he's at the toy store!
