Does it have the electric dump bed cylinder? It looks unmolested ~ Which is good.

Enginetype:

On my engine it is on the engine mountingfoot at the exhaustside.
It says like said before: EH 35c or 295C.
It is "carved" in the enginemetal.
You can change the plastic airgide or the stickers but not the carved one!

That price seems pretty stiff for this area too - I've seen a few Workhorses on CL, etc that start out at that price, but end up relisted with price drops, etc and usually drop out of sight around $1500 asking price (so you know they're more than likely selling for a couple of hundred less than that). Right now there's a nice 2000 Carryall II on CL I've been eyeballing for awhile, the guy started at $1800 about a month ago and now is down to $1600 - I'm holding out to hopefully offer him $1000-1200 once the weather really goes to hell :)

Oh, and not that it's directly relevant, but my buddy spent $800 on his early 90's ST350 (Marathon-style Workhorse)

It is worth between $1500 and $2000 depending upon a lot of things.
1. Availability... how many of those carts are in your area
2. Engine hours ... ask the hour meter reading... give us that info if you can get it.
3. Compression ... Do your own compression checks... anything over 155 is acceptable. 165 is great. Less than 150 is going to be an issue soon.
4. Tires

And general appearance is important when estimating value because it is as abused as it looks. This cart looks good to me... I would say it is going to go for close to the asking price if the hours aren't high and it runs out good.

There's not many of these sold in my area - gas carts are more expensive here.

This is the message the Seller sent me.

'I couldn't find the EH number. The serial number is 2035102. It has a working hour meter, showing 940 hours. Next to the carb, there was a Number: PPT40. Hope this helps.'

Is this a lot of hours for this cart?

not really .. as long as it was not abused and had regular maintenance. I have seen them with 2000 hours still hold 165 psi compression.

That round air cleaner in the picture was never put on the old 295 motor... so it's a 350

That's roughly 8 hours a month. Doesnt seem un-reasonable.

Thanks Scotty, essness & BrewCityMusic,
essness, from your pictures it looks like you added the ST front cowl. If so, did the color match the rear part of the cart?
Thanks
