Re: ezgo workhorse 12 HP vs regular gas cart
I looked at the other cart today-it was not a Workhorse but a Refresher. The guy said he saw on the internet that it was used for hauling refreshments-(I guess on golf courses?)
It was white instead of green which I did not like too much. It looked longer that my electric. It did have the electric dump, but all of the pics I found today for Refresher carts had beds with coolers, etc., even pulling trailers with coolers, etc. Maybe a workhorse bed was put on it. The front end was scratched up pretty badly. It did have a lift, but not as high as my electric, it may have been a 4" lift. I forgot to look at the tire size, but they looked the same as my elec. cart (20"). Can you put fender flares on this rear body?-it looks different from my electric back there, but it needs them because the tires stick out past the fenders. It seemed to have a very good amount of torque, we climbed several steep hills with both of us but no speed-MAYBE 8-10 MPH at the most, even on the flats. Is this normal? Could you get more speed without sacrificing torque? It backfired very loudly twice toward the end of the ride, when I let off of the accelerator after about 10-15 minutes of riding. We had been going down two long flat areas when it did this. There was no hour meter that I saw, but I didn't know where to look-there was a round gas gauge in the dash. Could this have been where the hour meter would have been? Model was Refresher Serial was 133 7268 Manufacture was either B201 or 13201-(can't read my own writing.) Sorry so much in one post. Thanks |
