Default Rear springs 94 medalist

I found buggiesgonewild about a month ago and can not stop reading it. Great site great info.
My question is I have a 1994 ez-go gas medalist that I had just got a month ago.
It has a cargo box on it, I was using it to haul fire wood and it was bottoming out when only 1/2 full.
Has anyone ever used trailer springs ( from Norther tool ) to beef up the hauling capacity, or what do i do.
What is the stock 3 leaf spring rated for?
I will be using it for more of a work horse, so a stiff ride really is not a problem.( well not to stiff )
Also what is the center to center dimension of the eyes on the springs?
Are trailer spring beefier then the Heavy duty 4 leaf springs from ez-go?
Thanks Lickity Split

Welcome to BGW! Get the HD Ezgo springs with 4 leafs, not 3 and it will hold enough wood to max out load the motor and axles and brake capacities....etc.

Thanks Scotty, that is what I was thinking, was not sure if the 4 leafs would be over kill.
Do I need to get new bushings also, and where is a good place to buy all of this stuff.
Thanks again, just new to golf carting and don't want to get screwed over.
