Default Need Help FAST!!!

I had my local machanic adjust the governor and the cart is now going 28mph but it is taking away from the low end speed and is not letting me go slow. I am at a camp site and need to go slow! I tred to unscrew the bolt a little that is behind the spring but the bolt turn and wont let me back it out!!! Any suggestions? or what i can do?? Thank you!!!!!!!:hel p:

Do you see a zip tie or anything that looks like it isn't factory? I have never had a golf cart but hear of people zip tying the governor, sorry I'm not more help.

There should be a small lock nut behind the main nut on the bolt going thru the spring you will need to hold the bolt with pliers while backing the nut off. Thats the problem if you adjust it up to much theres not much low end left. Hope this helps also you can zip tie ezgo's.

Use a plier to hold the whole assembly from rotating as you turn counterclockwise the small adjusting nut. (There 2 nuts, a small one which is the lock and a bigger one.) Better still, get a vise grip.
