Smoking '03 G22
I'm new here and new to golf carts so bare with me. I have a '03 G22a that is smoking. I'm assuming it needs new rings but my questions are should I just put new rings in it or rebuild the whole engine and what's the best place to get parts from? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Smoking '03 G22
Hi,
Did you do a compression test. It is possible that the crankcase was overfilled with oil. It should have no more than one quart in it. If overfilled, it can cause the engine to smoke. You might check to see if there is oil in the air intake. That would be an indication of too much oil. Don williams |

Re: Smoking '03 G22
Well I haven't had a chance to do anything to it yet but it isn't showing to be high on the dip stick. I'll do a compression test when I have a chance. What psi should it be showing? Thanks for your reply.
