Yamaha G1 not pumping oil
I would like to mix my oil and gas at 80 to 1. Is there a cup that has this ratio? How can I measure out 3.2 ounces of oil which will give me the 8o to 1 ratio?
Thanks Bill |

Re: Yamaha G1 not pumping oil
Here's what I did. I went to the store and bought a 3.2 oz bottle of 2 cycle oil. And there you go....an instant measuring cup. Make note on how full of oil in the bottle is because it wont be filled all of the way to the top. Most brands of 2 cycle oil companies sale this 3.2 oz container for easy mixing.

Thanks
Is 80: 1 measured as 1.6 ounces or is it 3.2 ounces? Bill |

Re: Yamaha G1 not pumping oil
40:1 is 3.2 oz to one gallon of gas. So you want to mix 3.2 oz to 2 gallons of gas to get your 80:1 ratio.
