Gas fill neck ????
Looking for an idea.........
I want to make my G-22 so you can fill the gas tank up from the outside of cart. Does anyone make any sort of adapter to screw on to top of gas tank under the seat ? Thought I could then run a plastic fill tube to the chassic... then install a custom cap on outside of cab.... |

Re: Gas fill neck ????
Never seen it, but that is the way some boats are done they put a filler cap in the hull and use rubber hose to the tank, where ever the tank is. Nice part about those is they are pretty much waterproof but may not look like you want. My best guess is if you found a normal cap for the tank maybe you could put a fitting into it and get a hose on it to your new cap outside?

Re: Gas fill neck ????
Ya, not so sure it will work without changing to a shorter gas tank.. I looked at it again, & the reg gas cap is just barely under the seat level... the project could get pretty pricey by the time I change all that out to something else.... maybe I will just look for another project.... lol
