Default Yamaha G22 Smoke at Startup

As title reads, my g22 exhaust pours out white/gray smoke when i first run it after sitting. Its quite a bit of smoke and it quits after a minute or two and wont do it again until it has sat for a night or two. This just started a few days ago and have never had problems before. Has not been run hard. Any ideas? Valve seal? I figure if it was rings then it would slightly smoke all the time. And oil was drained and put 1 quart back in a few hours ago of run time. Thank you.

I would run a compression test.See if the rings are involved.

My guess would be valve seals but I'd do as Ray says and do a compression test to start with.

Looks like I was putting too much oil in it. This problem started right after I installed my lift and I'm guessing it changed the reading on my dipstick.
