Re: Off road lights for headlights?
I've got the floods because I've got LED headlights for primary lighting. If they weere your only lights, I might choose the spots.

Re: Off road lights for headlights?
Dave, If your headlights are off do the floods put out enough light to see a few hundred feet or so? I am thinking I may just get the combo light bar which has both in it..

Re: Off road lights for headlights?
I haven't used them much, but it seems that they put out about as much light as the headlights, but in a wider pattern.
The amp draw on the whole setup is so much less now. I can turn them all on and have 12+ volts on the gauge... |

Re: Off road lights for headlights?
I'm gonna run them as my headlights. Decisions decisions. I ripped out the old ones and all the crappy wiring the previous owner had in there. I'm gonna wire all up with new fresh wiring solder and heat shrink. None of theses wire nuts and tape.

Re: Off road lights for headlights?
I have the 10" Cree spot light bar and I keep it down towards the road quite a bit to keep from being rude to oncoming carts.
