Here you go. If you use any other type of muffler that engine will not have any power. The 2 strokes really need that backpressure/flow to run correctly.

Well I cut the end cap off right at the weld opposite side of pipes and had like a cap so went ahead and cut 5" off the muffler mine doesnt look like yours mine looks like a center tube then metal mesh then fiberglass matting. I will look tomorrow more and see how short I need to make it but I wish the exhaust went in one side of muffler and went out the other would make this easier. Unless I can plug the little exit exhaust and put it in the other side. Also how close to the fiberglass and the tire do you think the canister muffler can be from them.

You could wrap the shortened muffler with "header heat wrap" if your worried of heat damage.
