Default G2 engine

Good morning neighbors, need advice.
the kids ran the engine out of oil and seized it. After sitting a few days it freed up. Put new oil in it and it ran a few minutes but was knocking bad. Looking for ideas.

The kids ran the cart out of oil. Hum. Your going to have to remove the engine and take it apart to see what is knocking

Looks like some kids will be learning about a Yamaha engine. I'd have them help. Good time for a learning project. Just make it fun.
