Default G1 Cluth side seals

Hey guys,

You G1 guys have likely been where I am now, replacing seals on the clutch. Campground cart with dust in every orifice you can imagine...

I had a "stuck" clutch and pulled it off, cleaned it up and it works as it should. I now need to replace the seals.

Photo shows where I am. I am having trouble with two things:

One-
Getting all of old seal removed...I tried to scrape it off but it is more of a "rubber film" than a solid piece. I need to clean the groove so the new one seats properly. I have tired to get it off but can't get it out very good. I hesitate to use abrasive action as I may damage it or get fine metal particles in the bottom end.

Is there a solvent out there that will help? Have any of you had luck with this issue?

Two:
Reassembly. I have what I think are the right seals (2 in photo) but not sure exactly what goes where. Or which way it goes direction (in or out).

From this photo, (in order of reassembly) ... I think it is main seal, then oil injection pump housing, then clutch... am I close?? Where does the smaller seal go?

Not clear which way they go as it was pretty much gone when I removed the clutch and injection pump gear housing...

Thanks in advance for the help!!

drill a small hole in the seal, stick a sheet metal screw in it and pull the seal out. Its simple. Your correct on everything else, its a very simple job.
