G9 (like) primary sheave (clutch)
Oops, one of my weight link assembly broke in my primary sheave...
Having two options, I suppose: replacing the 3 assemblies (not just one) or change all the clutch with a "direct bolt on" like the one in CartParts Plus... https://www.cartpartsplus.com/perfor...hi-perf-clutch Did someone already installed it? For the price (and possible troubles), I would prefer to change all the clutch. Even not a real Yamaha part, do you trust this supplier selling compatible products even if, I know, they are a sponsor of the forum... |

It can work just fine, but with it being a "performance" clutch be prepared to upgrade the spring in your secondary/driven clutch. The 2 clutches need to work together - it's kind of a balancing act. Weight and spring changes in the drive clutch can "overwhelm" the driven clutch and cause drivability problems. That said, I would have no problem installing that clutch.
