It will be adequate, a 48500 would be better for what you describe. Your intended (recently described) use sounds like a great way to fry the stock Hitachi motor too. So you will get to pick out a new one of those soon too.

I replaced my stock controller with this controller and it works perfectly. I upgraded my cables, solenoid and added a fuse. Thank you for your help
