92 Clubcart petrol tank cap
The inner breather goodie of my 92 clubcart petrol tank cap has broken. Is it necessary? Can it be replaced? Any genetics that can be used?

Re: 92 Clubcart petrol tank cap
If your tank has a separate vent assembly on top you do not need a vented cap, but it does not hurt to have a vented cap. If you have no vent assembly on the tank, then you need a vented cap. As long as gas doesn't splash or leak out of the top of the cap, then you should be fine to continue using your current cap even without the vent parts.
There are many lawnmowers and other small engine equipment that use the same caps so usually you can find them at a local hardware store, although being from SA, you may need to look a bit harder depending on what's available in your area. Most other types of equipment do use a vented cap, so that's usually the most commonly available type. |

Re: 92 Clubcart petrol tank cap
On my DS I used a cap from an ezgo marathon. Cool thing about that is it has a gas gauge and float built into it :)
