Re: 2012 Express S4 not starting
I’m going to pull my hair out. Replaced the starter. Same **** issue. The one relay I posted a pic of before just clicks. I tested power everywhere. Every wire I checked or unplugged had power. Could this voltage regulator be the issue? Trombetta 27739G01. I posted a pic of it in the first post. I’ve also replaced the relay. Have power coming from the pedal micro switch. Battery stays at 11.9 Volts even after a charge

Re: 2012 Express S4 not starting
The voltage regulator doesn't come into play until the generator is actually producing.
You say the battery is good. How did you test it? Did you just test the standing voltage, or an actual load test? A full battery charge is 12.74 volts. What are you reading? What does the voltage at the battery read when stepping on the pedal? A normal drop is about 1 volt. If the voltage drops to 9.6 volts or less, the battery failed a load test. EDIT: I see in post #11 that you only have 11.9 volts. That battery is dead. |

Re: 2012 Express S4 not starting
Battery replaced. Same issue. 🤷🏼 The only thing I haven’t replaced is the pedal switch, forward/reverse switch and voltage regulator and anything to do with the key/ignition. WTH 😡 And still no solenoid click.

Re: 2012 Express S4 not starting
If it has the factory pedal with the switch it is probably stuck. Small micro switch built into the assembly. Try a little wd
