The stock solenoid will get hot because you are drawing alot more amps through it. Should get a HD one.

If you like it now wait 'til you get 48. Flying up hills like they're not even there.

I thought there would be a disk. I bought mine at RS also.

I had to ditch my cover because the DCX 500 is even bigger. The Altrax is water tight you won't need it. I read somewhere on hear that you can cut the cover in 1/2 right below the toggle switch and mount that part to the top.
My switch is just tied off to the side until I make a mount for it. I think I'm going to use my old solenoid mount for it.
