93 G9 Hard to start
I have a 93 g9
It has a hard time starting most of the time but worst after it has been sitting for awhile. once it has started it gets easyer. and only when you just barly toe the gas pedal. Thank you Don |

Re: 93 G9 Hard to start
Sounds like it needs a good tune up. Pull/cut out the factory fuel filter in the bottom of the tank and install an inline one from an auto parts store (like the ones on an Ezgo). New plug, pull the bowl off the bottom of the carb. and spray the carb out really good with some carb. cleaner, clean out the air filter and foam insert, and then make sure the air box is completely sealed. Check your cable adjustment to the carb as well. Change the oil (one quart only/dipstick misreads), shoot a couple of pumps of grease in the drive and driven clutch.
