Thanks fellers, I did the same thing with some 1/2 galvanized pipe. Unfortunately I have steering interferance. My springs are weak!!!!

Mike, yeh you did mention the leveling kit. you also mentioned the price. it cost me 7 dollars in grade 8 bolts to give it a try. the bolts i will use eventually so really it didnt cost me a thing but the time to type a couple of messages. If the lift becomes imortant enough to me i'll get one. thanks

Scotty b, thanks for the photo. What I came up with looked very similar, only add the hitch turned upside down to the top of the axle.
My flat front spings just got in the way! |
