Good deal or not?
Found a place that I can pick up 2009 Yamaha drives for $750 with no charger or batteries. I have to get at least 4 carts. I figured with batteries and a new charger I would be in them around 1400 to 1450 each.

Re: Good deal or not?
The million dollar question is what's the condition of the other electronics (controller ,switches etc) ? Time you buy batteries ,cables and a charger you are not gonna be to far off from the price of a riding driving cart. Just my 2 cents . But that being said I'm a big fan of the Yamaha Drives (G29) loving mine. - Mayor

Re: Good deal or not?
I can make my own cables. And batteries will cost me 450. Charger will cost me 200. They are coming from a golf cart retail/wholesale store. The controller and motor and switches are working

Re: Good deal or not?
And if I got one already running it most likely wouldn't have brand new batteries. These come straight off a golf course. I can also get 2010 text 36v for 1550. 48 v for 1750. Gas drive for 2100

Do you have the time?
Do you have the tools? Do you have a solid market? Just a few things to consider. |

Re: Good deal or not?
I don't know where your located. But around here stock Drives ready to go are selling 1350-1500 dollars. But that's usually with Good not new batteries. So lil elbow grease you could have a cart on the cheap with new batteries. Maybe that's not such a bad deal. What kinda of 12V batteries are you getting for that price ? -Mayor

Re: Good deal or not?
OK. So I didn't look into the drive to see if it took 6-8v or 4-12v. The 12v would run around 550
