Default Club car top on G9

Local club car top for 20.00, I figured what the heck I’ll gamble on it. It worked very nicely on the G9, I like the looks of it more than the square G9 top & there’s grab-handles on each side. It doesn’t happen often, but sometimes you get lucky!

How did you do that? I have a spare black Precedent roof I'd love to use on my DS.

Pretty easy, I used some 1"x1" square aluminum and 1" aluminum angle to make the Precedent roof line up with the DS front roof supports and drilled new holes for the rear.

Looks great. I used a DS roof on my G9 too. It was the older style but for $10 I didn’t care

I much prefer the newer style roofs though. Much nicer

on the front you can squeese them to fit in , but I used a peice of 1"x1" to fill in and bolt the 1" angle to that .

The back I bolt though the inner flange using the the plates from the orginal DS brackets

Ah, thanks Swan, I hadn't thought of that. I will have to give that route a try with my DS...I've got a few spare Precedent roofs here and one of them is black, even.
