Electronic pedal sensitive
I have 94 club cart. I put convention kit in with electronic pedal. The controller is SR48500 Alltrax. Question; How do you control the sensitivity of the pedal? When pressed it is difficult regulate. When pressed in reverse and forward the passengers are jerked in their seat. I do have tool kit for controller. Is there a setting that I am missing?
Thanks |

Re: Electronic pedal sensitive
In the Alltrax Toolkit software you can adjust both the throttle curves and the throttle rate. Adjust them, click set, and drive the cart, adjusting until you get it where you like it.

Re: Electronic pedal sensitive
Thanks Jake I will try that today.
The Pedal was purchased from carts unlimited about three years ago. Not sure what the brand name is. I believe it has 5 wires. |

Re: Electronic pedal sensitive
The Alltrax has the throttle ramp(up) rate which can be set lower for slower acceleration response time. You can also go into the throttle chart and with the use of user created pins drag and set various points of the throttle line into a concave upward curve which reduce pedal response early in the pedal travel.
A little of both of these actions will give you the desired effect... just go a little at a time and retest, then repeat. |

Re: Electronic pedal sensitive
Guys, give it a try. Bad news is its worse. Can’t seem to get it right. Would anybody be able to give me formula that works. Pic would be fine or maybe just the numbers to be punched in. Both the torque and speed. the reverse is bad, it grabs and throws you forward. Once in motion the cart performs well. Thanks

Re: Electronic pedal sensitive
Which throttle are you selecting. I would thing the 5k-0 would be correct, not the Club Car 5k-0 throttle. You might want to try the "Absolute Throttle" If you do put it on jack stands while adjusting.

Re: Electronic pedal sensitive
Scotty used to sell the 0-5volt throttle pedal with those kits. The 5-0 setting is in ohms. Make sure you have the throttle set for 0-5v if his conversions still use that same pedal.
