I see one and it looks tiny. Not sure if that’s the whole issue but the connection where the cables attach on the back needs to be checked, and that cable needs to be the same size as the others.

I see it now. That little black one in the middle? Yeah, that's gotta go, and put a real cable there.

Did it work any at all with set up? My guess is it worked long enough to burn up that new switch with that little wire.

You have the green and white wires from the harness spliced?
