Default Programming Curtis Controller Model 1510A-5251

Hi All,

I am writing regarding a question about a Curtis controller installed in my club car. Curtis instruments advised me that the Controller Model 1510A-5251 is exclusive to club cars and that all programmed info is programmed by club car. Has anyone been successful in programming a Curtis Controller Model 1510A-5251?

Thanks! Any help is appreciated.

Were you able to use the stock programming interfaces such as the Model 1311 LP Handheld Programmer or Model 1314 PC Programming Station, or did you use another method?

I'd really like some help with this as well. I have been looking all over for this. I feel like i'm not the only other person either. So out of curiosity, why instead of doing it over PM, don't you guys make this information public?

Same problems. I have the Curtis 1311 handheld and connected to model 1510a-5250 controller. It will only show basic details. Cannot get to sud-menus to change parameters. Have not been able to find an answer.

There are 2 versions of the 1311. Club Car refers to them as IQDM Series 2 which is what you have and IQDM Series 2 (P) which the P stands for Programmable. The regular version has all the diagnostic features without a lot of the actual programming features. Its really silly because they are both about the same price but the P is almost impossible to get unless your a dealer.
