EZGO RXV needs more speed

Just got a 2020 electric RXV -- seems to run great, but top end speed is ~13-14mph. It goes great up hills and around town, but would like to add about 10 more mph. All suggestions are much appreciated

Find a dealer and have them program it. There is a freedom mode in the controller that likely isnt unlocked and a dealer can do that.

If you want to go 19.5mph a dealer can do that for you. Your controller is probably a 7.0 or higher so you're looking at 24-25mph to have it reprogrammed by someone who knows how to do it. RXV controllers with a 6.0 revision level or lower with 20.5" tires will go 30mph.

I've been thinking about increasing the speed on my 2005 RXV with 20.5" tires. What options do I have usgicollector? It currently runs about 22mph. I'd like to get up to 27mph or so.

That 2015 RXV controller with 20.5" tires can be programmed to 30+mph. You will need a complete set of 2awg battery cables if we do the tune up.

I'm pretty sure I already have the upgraded 2awg battery cables...will confirm. I'd like to explore doing the tune up...PM?

What can you get on a 2021? Just picked one up and trying to decide on tire size now.

With 20.5" tires you're looking at 24-25mph doing it with Programming Station.

Looks like it’s already setup for 19mph. Been reading that 23” tires are not good for the rxv, is that still true for the ‘21s? I’d like to get it to 30+ if possible.
