EZGO Rivet List

Well since I have two carts now apart, I felt I needed to look up some information, since I had it I felt it was necessary to share this will everyone else. I would think that someone else could use this information as well. If I have missed something on the list let me know and I will add it to the list accordingly, but I think I have gotten most of it. Hope this helps someone.

This is a list of Rivets needed if doing a complete frame break down. I pulled this information from Service Parts Manual starting 2003. Some/Most of these parts will also work on older EZGO models back to 1994, to the Medalist. There are some parts that are different, please refer to your cart to make sure. The Front Cowl Rivels are expandable (Molley Type)



1. Body Front
Dash area 3/16” x 1” Aluminum x 9
Vinyl Trim sides that hold mat down and bottom of dash 3/16” x 1” AL x 10
Bottom of Front Cowl 3/16” x ¾” Stainless x 2
Front Shock Cover ¼” x 1” x 2
Key Switch Plate, it was not listed, but a set of screws will work.


2. Body Mid-Section Floor Pan and Fire Wall Area
Rivet 3/16” x 9/16” x 16
Rear fender area ¼” x ¾” LG x 8


3. Body Rear
Seat Hinge 3/16” x ¾” Stainless x 4
Bag Well ¼” x ¾” x 2
Rear Bumper 3/16” x 9/16” Aluminum x 4
Bottom of Rear Body Rocker Panel area ¼” x 9/16” Aluminum x 4
Rocker Panels 3/16” x 15/16” x 4
Front of Rear Body Floor Pan Area 5/32” x 9/16” x 6
Horn Button if equipped Rivet 3/16” x 1” LG x 2
Charger Receptacle 3/16” x 1” Aluminum x 4

Thanks Mark!!! Great reference for new guys(like myself) when doing a frame up restoration! I am surprised you released this seeing you are so damm secretive about everything

I have a couple of the "TXT body rivet kit" packages from EZGO. Any idea what this list includes that the package from EZGO doesn't?

The Ezgo Rivet set or kit is for body replacement only. So it doesn't cover the floor or firewall tin or the dash, stuff like that.
I'm putting a complete kit together for the guys that want to do frame up restorations. I am building my list and LH will be the guinea pig

Scotty, I got the kits from you. I didn't take the dash off but I did remove the floor pan. I'm pretty sure I found some rivets that will work for that. Do you know if your kit includes the rivets for the charger receptacle?

Yes the ezgo kits should have 4 expanding rivets for the receptacle. The floor takes 5 extra 3/16 x 1/2 x 5/8 head Rivets. You should already have the 5 for the rear of floor because they hold the body down thru the floor to the frame.
