Default 09 RXV wont move!!!Please HELP!!!

I was attempting to hook up an LED light bar to my battery indicator harness wires and when I touched my light bar wire to the red wire on the harness it sparked. Now it will not move forward or backwards AND the battery indicator gauge shows 0 and the yellow light on the indicator is staying on. Before this happened I had just fully charged the batteries. I could not find a fuse anywhere. I do not have head lights or taillights. The only accessory I have is the battery indicator. I am praying to God I did not fry the controller. Any ideas anybody?

Shoulda read up before you tried that... Odds are good that the controller is gone. Those meter wires were never intended to power anything other than the gauge.

Sounds more like a blown fuse to me if the battery indicator isn't working. Look for a fuse.

Wanted to follow up so nobody else makes the same ignorant mistake I did. The controller is bad. Anyone have a used RXV controller for sale?

Rxv tech here...

Sorry- probably best to get a controller from EZ-Go Maybe local dealer.
Local dealer can program it for 19mph for you.

Please note that RXV's use a digital control system.

The wire harness is not "User friendly" for modifications.
To modify, you must know about moding PLC's or at least understand digital signal electronics.
Please post/ask about adding or modifying RXV wiring.

Will try to answer any questions .
