Default 48V Beast on lifted LIMO

Will I be happy with performance?

I am about to pull the trigger on "The Beast" motor, complete with 650 amp controller and all the other needed upgrades...

23" tires

Hi
I have a 94 EZGO TXT with the beast motor and an altrax 700 amp controller. The performance is awesome, and the programmable ( with your laptop ) controller has never failed to give me a head snapping accelleration

Have fun !!

Thanks

so Jamesotn, you have the Beast speed model?

I am looking at the high torque model since my cart will be lifted. It says 12hp on 48v system

I hope I will get both speed and torque, but torque is most important if I had to choose

Axe48????? Hp ratings are "skeptical" sometimes. Depends on how they are rated. The factory ratings are sometimes based on a impulse rating that is inflated compared to similar motors in their market (real world use).

Sorry cgtech, poor spelling on my part. I did not assemble this cart, it was done by a tech in Birmingham, he's also the one who installed the jakes disc brakes. The controller is an ALLTRAXX Pro can be set with maps up to 72 volts. I have used gps to check and it presently runs just over 32 mph. I also have an RXV with 13:1 street gear and it's slightly faster, but takes a little longer to get there. Other than gear the cart is stock. I am installing jake disc brakes on it this week prior to leaving for vacation in sebring Fl. The rxv is tagged and street legal. Have a good day
