I'm assuming you mean the Curtis handheld scanner for the IQ system?

Looking at your other posts, it appears you may be working on an 05 DS with an Alltrax in it. If that's the case the Curtis programmer won't work

In the event that it is something different, what's the chance you're near CNY?

Very true, which brings up a good point. An Alltrax controller is cheaper than the Curtis scanner. Unless you're scanning more than one vehicle it's really not worth it. The Alltrax software is free on their website and you can use a regular laptop computer to do all the tuning or diagnostics.

I would have to agree with this statement. I have one because I have a shop, so it would definitely be of use. It's really not economical if it's only used for one car. Is it a good diagnostic tool to have? Sure is, but I think it's just not worth the price it is for an "if my car breaks down" scenario

That's why I asked if you are local. If you are, you would be able to come by and borrow it
