Default LED Kit for Clubcar DS with Factory Lights

I've looked but the only kits I've found are for DS without the holes cut, most say they won't fit into the stock DC Factory style light cutouts.

Is this true, is there a LED kit for front lights that will work with replacing the existing headlight assembly.

Have to replace the rear light covers, kids left the cart with the brake pedal ina position that left the stock lights on overnight and burned holes in the red lens.

IF I'm going to replace them, LED is what I'd prefer, and to do all the lights at once.

I've installed these on several carts, I think they are very effective. I install with an additional switch to allow High Beam to be switched on and off as required.

Note - there are two different cowls for the DS and the cowl determines which headlights can be installed. Please see linked "sticky".

Ha, djohns18 did the led lights fit in the stock headlight bezel. I have a 2007 with stock light kit. Can get led bulbs but the led headlights would put out more light.

Yes they fit the stock Bezel, that are far superior to putting LED bulbs in the stock lights.

Suggest you buy these also, blades are not 1/4".

Thanks dJohn that is a big help. To me that is the best way to go if you have the factory lights.

Sorry hrk didn’t mean to hijack your thread.

One more question if I may, what voltage are you running to the LED's. I'm new to the DS and still learning. I believe I have a factory set of lights that currently have a 9004 standard headlight bulb. I want to be sure the power that is running to that setup is sufficient for these LED's.

Thank you.

Goober not a problem, I"m just trying to learn what I can about the LED swap, it's time to do it on the DS, I put an LED lightbar from Amazon on the front and it makes a world of difference for under $30 it's a no brainer.

Ran it on a separate power wire to a relay and new toggle switch separate from the stock lighting system. Drilled two holes in the front bumper pad, mounted it there and it's a nice look.

Put LED bulbs in the stock lights but it only provides a white light, not much difference, and since the rear lens are fubar decided it's time to make the change.

Amazon Light Bar

I have also installed a LED light bar on some of the DS’s I have worked on. It made a big difference.

Along with installing a light kit I also install a voltage reducer so all the accessories are drawing of the hole pack.

I run them from a Voltage Reducer, so they are running on a nominal 12 volts. If you currently have headlights they will be running from a Voltage Reducer, or they will be connected across a portion of the pack (two batteries on a 48v cart to give you 16v).
