Default 1990 Ezgo

My 1990 Ezgo has a mind of it's own it will run great then not start or not start then just decide to go. It was doing this same thing before I put a new carb on and did a rebuild didn't change a thing. Any Ideas?

Single cylinder 2 stroke or twin cylinder 4 stroke?

New fuel pump, pumping fuel to the new carb, took bowl off (clean)using premium gas, I have spark when it won't start... Have not tried carb cleaner to see if it will fire while in no start. That will be my next try.

I would put the original carb back on. The 20 dollar carbs are junk. I would also install a new NGK spark plug.

It was doing the same thing with the old carb and I have put a new NKG plug in the other one looked fouled. However The spark looks a little dull but that might be from comparing to a car.??

No need to use premium gas, it won't make it run better cleaner faster or any of that make believe stuff. It might even make it run worse, especially if you're thinking you may have a weak spark. The one thing it IS doing for you is wasting your money, Just sayin'
