Need advice on leaf springs
I definitely need at least new leaf springs. I was going to go with heavy duty springs until I started researching them and it seems like it really stiffens the ride. Does it only stiffen the ride when the load is light (one person driving vs 4) or does it stiffen it even with 4 people on?
Last thing I want to do is spend MORE money and end up worse off then had I spent LESS on medium duty or add-a-leafs... |

Re: Need advice on leaf springs
I've got HD springs on mine, it rides like a log all the time. From what I've read dual action springs is the way to go.

Re: Need advice on leaf springs
HD will stiffen your ride for sure. If you have 4 people on 80% of the time, they may work to your satisfaction. But that other 20% when it's just you....your kidneys will not thank you.
Go with a dual action spring. The HD part won't "kick in" until you have the weight. |
