Default ezgo txt 48v Alltrax issue

I have a 2011 EZGO txt 48v and purchased an Alltrax xct48500-bbb for a controller upgrade. I used the generic wiring schematic to change from the 16pin EZGO plug to a 23pin plug and uploaded the txt48v field map into the controller but im now getting a "High throttle input overrange" error code and the cart does not function. Also getting 2 green light flashes and then 3 red light flashes. ITS white cable going into connector is getting 11v. Any thoughts on how to potentially fix?

Cart functioned properly before the change, was just slow (12.5 mph). HAve talked with Alltrax tech support quite a bit but looking to get some additional advice.

Does the throttle setting say ITS?

Probably need to contact Alltrax for some guidance on which pins you need to connect to. Just think if you had bought the one made for the 48txt it would have plugged in..

"Have talked with Alltrax tech support quite a bit but looking to get some additional advice."

Pretty frustrating to ask for advice as a novice in this area and get shot down like that tbh. I've talked with Alltrax for over an hour over the past few days confirming schematics and other potential issues. The person i bought the controller from had it on a TXT 48v so i assumed it was the same plug. Excuse me for not knowing.
Just a beginner looking for some help.

My apologies.. wasn’t trying to be an arse. Your cart has an ITS throttle. Just not sure which pins on that 23 port need to be used for it. If it is not on the correct ones it will throw that code.

Converting a 24 pin wire harness to a 16 pin would take an expert technician with an understanding of how both carts work.
Granted there are only about 12 pins needed to 'run' the cart but still an advanced project for sure.

To clear the throttle error (assuming the correct throttle setting is selected) uncheck the HPD box. High Pedal disable. But be warned - the cart needs to have the rear wheels off the ground when you go to test this new setting!

Lay out how you have it configured pin by pin # and we will see if we can help.

I'm getting 8v off of the ITS sensor when the pedal is engaged and 10.6v with pedal unengaged. If I set the throttle to USB i get functionality and the wheels turning again using the laptop.

I've tried unchecking the HPD box, but still no luck.

Pins are as follows 16 pin -> 23 pin
Run/tow (9) -> 1
footswitch (6) -> 3
forward ( -> 4
reverse (16) -> 5
Keyswitch 10 -> 6
ITS black (2) -> Throttle Wiper 7
ITS white (1) -> Throttle High 9
horn neg (7) -> 10
Solenoid neg (12) -> 11
tach out (14) -> 14
Tach ref (15) -> 15
tach neg (16) -> 16
Charger Disable (5) -> 19

I also purchased a new ITS sensor and getting the same voltage readings. Then tried wiring directly from controller to ITS sensor to troubleshoot the 4pin plug or wiring under cart through firewall and still getting the same 10.6v with pedal unengaged and 8.3v with pedal fully engaged. tried with both HPD checked and unchecked as well.

USB throttle from laptop still works if changed.
