The brakes are energized separately from the main solenoid. You can use a 36v or 48v solenoid, but you need to check the driver output % with a handset and adjust it to get the correct voltage output otherwise you will end up burning up the solenoid

So the solenoid replacement did work to get it running, but the parking brake was definitely bad. I could trick the cart into running before it noticed the parking brake was bad, but if it tried to engage the parking brake, it would no longer run.
Ordered a new brake from Amazon that was supposed to be here Sunday, but it has been delayed and still hasn't arrived. Will post pictures of the new ride once it is up and running. |
