Default Marathon Lift and new tires/wheels

Put a 4" lift and 23x10x10 Swamp Fox tires with new offset wheels on my marathon based Tuff-1 this past weekend. When I opened the boxes with the tires and wheels I had my doubts that 4" was going to be enough lift. It already had 21x9x8 tires without a lift so mathematically it should have worked and when we completed the job it looks GOOD! (IMO). I'm attaching before and after pics, hope it works. BTW the before pics are in the snow which here in south Alabama is pretty rare. Had a great time buzzing around in the cart. The pics with the cart on the trailer are after one of our hunting trips in January. It doesn't snow here often during the winter but rains alot so we had fun in the musd

i have a 06 st sport that supposed to have a 4" lift but i noticed on your cart the front suspension it has pedestals. my cart does not my cart came with 20-10-10 tires, i just recently had to put on 22-11-10 and they rub every now and then. just looks like you have alot more space for your tires

If I'm not mistaken, your 06 will have a different front suspension. Do your leaf springs attach to the axle on top or bottom. I beleive they attach at the bottom. If this is true, the block lift will not work on your cart. You will have to go to a drop axle or a drop spindle set up. I was very pleased with the amount of lift a got. My son-in-law has a workhorse that has a factory lift (we think) and this lift is way taller than his.

I know that the newer Sports do not have a lift on them. Well they call it a 2" lift??? If you have a 4" lift you should have no prob fitting 23" tall tires on it.

Yes, coil springs in the rear. Check this sponsor link, it has pictures of the front and rear lift.
