help with the body of a clubcar
i have a 99 clubcar and i was going to have it painted but i have to take the body off. I dont know much about golf carts so does anyone have tips about how you take the body off?

Remove the top and supports. Remove the seats and backrests. remove the front bumper and 2 body bolts there. the trim trip at the dash is now all that holds the front cowl on. remove the srews going into the sliding clips in the trim. Find them inside the foot area and glove boxes, The rear has 2 bolts at the floor line. remove the F&R and Charge recepticle. Remove the bagwell liner and find 2 bolts under there. I think it will come off now....If not I forgot something !

Welcome to the forum kcpanther...............
One addition to Scotty's post. The trim strip around the dash usually has 6, 1/4 inch hex head screws. Dont screw them all the way out. It's a real bear and a time taker to get them back in and realigned for installation. Only loosen them a turn and the front cowel will slip off and back on as well. |

When you are ready to put it back on . I will tell you a secret about how to get the cowl trim piece back on with those stupid little sliding clip and screw fasteners.......

Hey KC, the biggest problem I had with this one, was the side or I'd call them rocker panels.
