2005 CC DS 48V Solenoid Click, slight movement then nothing
Hello all and thanks in advance for any help. I have a 2005 Club Car DS with serial number AQ0535-538084. It has the F/R Switch.
It has brand new Trojan batteries, (48 volt, fully charged), Brand new 4Ga cables all around, 22 inch tires and thats about it for mods. Problem: Cart will stumble when go pedal initially pushed. I will hear a "click" from a solenoid, I am assuming, get some small movement from the motor, then it stops, and I hear another click, like the solenoid is deactivating. If I cycle the key and F/R switch, it may do the same thing, or absolutely no clicking at all. Sometimes I can cycle it enough where it will run full speed for the rest of the day, but it's been getting worse and worse, and now it's ka-put. Speed sensor is working as I've pushed the cart by hand and get resistance from the cart and the beeping. What can I test next? Thanks! |
