so that will cause the so called "half speed" issue

and you are recommending a replacement for all 3?

can you recommend a supplier...will a Napa or Advance Auto have that?

As CCFanatic pointed out, they all look in rough shape.

Yes, if the 3rd microswitch does not "open", You will always be at half-speed. Just disconnect one of the wires and You will know for sure. The only side effect is that You will have full speed in reverse as well, no big deal.

The site sponsors carry those switches.

Edit: here is an example from a site sponsor

The one with the White Wire on the top, closest to the rear of the cart.

Did the broken wire come off of the second or third MS?

That's a load of crap. Go to your nearest Club Car AUTHORIZED dealer and tell them you need three CC #1014808

-------------------

FWIW, the middle MS is for the reverse buzzer, since the tab is broken off, I suspect that doesn't work as well

-------------------

Another FWIW, in the picture you posted of your F-R switch, it appears that there is not a Club Car logo in the upper right hand corner, indicating that it is an aftermarket switch. I had an aftermarket switch on my 99 DS and the issue was that the rotating cam was not as high as the OEM one and since it was lower, the outer two MSs were not engaging and I did not have a reverse buzzer nor half-speed reverse. I had to add a few pieces of double-sided tape to the top of the cam so when in reverse, it would engage the outer two MSs. Just some food for thought

-------------------

I just went and looked on my 95 DS and on my F-R, the black wire is on top and the white is on the bottom. Before you buy a new switch, try switching the wires and see what happens. I suspect when the F-R switch was changed, the wires were switch accidentally

Ok, you guys better hold on to your pants, because we are about to go wild . According to the wiring diagram for a 95 DS, the outer two MSs on the F-R should have three wires connected to them, each. On the middle one, one of the wires is not used. The third MSs, though, should have all three wires going somewhere. Now, go look on your controller on the 2nd small terminal. I'm going to be willing to bet that there is no wire connected there. This is how my 95 DS is setup, and it works. I'm going off of the wiring diagram on this site and off of my 95 DS itself. The IPL for your cart shows that there should only be two wires per MS, so I may be wrong, but I don't think so, considering how mine is setup

im beginning to think that the F&R switch that is on my cart is no the original equipment...i talked to a dealer today and he was saying that my cart should only have 2 micro switches instead of 3.

if i had hair i would pull it out.

No, you should have three. Try reversing the two wires and see if the problem still exists
