Another Painting Question? (AmorFlex)
I did some research on the club cart and found out that it is made of Amorflex. I thought plastic/fiberglass but this is my first cart.
So that being said, i am not fimiliar with that stuff and wondering if anyone has painted theirs and had some good reviews. I do have a paint gun, but seen some awesome stuff on youtube with people using rattle cans.... any information would be great and sorry if I started another crazy painting thread. Thanks |

Re: Another Painting Question? (AmorFlex)
FWIW...
I'm not familiar with ArmorFlex. The actual material of the CC body is possibly dictated by the year and model of the cart. The CC website indicates "Surlyn" is the material used for the current Precedent bodies. Surlyn is a soft, flexible material (made by DuPont, I believe...) that is also used for the cover of golf balls because of its toughness and durability. The material used for the DS body could possibly be different. In any event, proper preparation and correct primer and color is an absolute must... |

Re: Another Painting Question? (AmorFlex)
I think he is talking about his 1999 DS (in the signature) which is made of ArmorFlex.
