thanks, guys. Been out of town, but will check these things this week. I thought a 36v motor ran fine with these upgrades, or that at least I thought it would.

The "leak" is coming from a bolt on the bottom left if you are looking at it from the rear. I'll try to get a picture up.

That leak would be, at the minimum a loose oil drain bolt and at the worse a cracked gear case or stripped axle bolt.
Check the torque on the lowest bolt. Maybe it's time to do an oil change on the rearend while you are there... I think your unit calls for 22 oz. of SAE 30 wt. Other on here have converted to synthetic with good results. Don't let it run dry!
