I am in the process of installing 48v, 700amp controller and PQ mid range assassin. Got it all hooked up Saturday night.... no body, just a board for a seat and the steering wheel. 23" tires, scary torque and 28mph on flat ground. 28mph is faster than it sounds, especially with 6" of lift and 23's..... LOVE IT SO FAR! Call PQ, they will build just what you want.

for $1495

OR

Should I build something from PQ comparable for the money
I just priced out the same stuff at carts unlimited with a PQ assasin motor job and came up with $1612. Thats with a voltmeter instead of a state of charge meter. Based on what I know (and thats not much. Just what I have read on here), I think the extra $117 would be well spent with a noted increase in performance.

+1. That's the setup I'm saving up for.

+ however many on that one. You can not go wrong with those guys. I just got mine going. Mine is not specifically a torque motor but has tons of torque anyway. Awesome performance from the PQ motor and the controller package from CU!!!!
