EZGO TXT Parking Brake Adjustment with Ausco Discs

I went back and forth with this, initially the brakes were so loose the parking brake would not set. I adjusted on jack stands wheels off and could not get it satisfactory, wheels on I adjusted wheels turn free but there maybe a little drag at first. Brakes have to be pushed hard a few times after each adjustment. I drove it a few times used brakes and have had to adjust nut and lock nut 3 or 4 times, wheels on and cart down on ground. The cables have a bit a free in them and at the adjustment nut I could turn by hand to adjust the nut then wrench lock nut after 3 or 4 more times and 20 or so miles it seems fine. The brakes squeal once in a while when driving and initially when backing up, I tested just moving a few feet until after brake off the 2 ft of low squeal raised with jack and wheels turned. I guess it takes time to adjust in a patience seems to be the watchword, the pads may drag a little but all is adjusted and parking break was tightened a turn at a time until it locks now, hope this helps.
